Job Summary:
We are seeking a Leasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for showcasing apartments to potential renters, leasing apartments to qualified applicants, renewing leases with current tenants, and managing property-related tasks as directed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and greet visitors, prospective renters, and current residents in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Provide potential tenants with brochures, information, and tours of available units and facilities.
3. Consult with prospective tenants to understand their requirements and budgets, matching them with suitable properties.
4. Ensure that available and model apartments are maintained in excellent condition.
5. Conduct background and credit checks, and verify references as directed by the Leasing Manager.
6. Prepare leases for review and approval by the Leasing Manager, obtaining signatures from management and tenants.
7. Coordinate move-in dates, materials, and processes.
8. Prepare move-in materials and ensure a smooth transition for new tenants.
9. Develop and maintain a wait list as needed.
10. Regularly tour the property to ensure it is well-maintained, attractive, and in good repair.
11. Manage the use of shared facilities such as fitness and recreation areas, laundry facilities, and meeting spaces.
12. Assist with record keeping, filing, bookkeeping, and other paperwork as required.
13. Create and maintain a list of promotions and discounts to attract potential renters.
14. Develop and implement marketing strategies to effectively promote available properties.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
1. Outgoing and friendly attitude, making others feel welcome and comfortable.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong sales and customer service abilities.
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
4. Detail-oriented and well-organized.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Real estate sales license preferred.
3. Experience in Dubai real estate market.
4. Sales experience.
5. 1 to 2 years of related experience in leasing.
6. Valid driving license.
7. Fluent in English.
